Commemorating the grand opening of Ulsan City's very first city museum, 'Fantastic Creatures' is the first special exhibition for the Ulsan Museum and the first time that the exhibition has been exhibited by the British Museum.
A culturally diverse selection of 169 artworks and artifacts were selected by a team of curators from the British Museum to represent the theme of fantastic creatures and mythical beings. 

Divided into 9 sections, the exhibition address many intriguing ideas and pressing questions, such as what lies beyond the visible horizon, how humans make sense of the world and explain its mysteries and dangers, the human relationship with the animal kingdom, the nature of good and evil, and what it means to be human.
